JUNO BEACH, Fla. — Sensatek Propulsion Technology, Inc. is proud to announce its selection into Florida Power & Light Company’s (FPL) 35 Mules program, the first-ever in-house innovation hub powered by a global energy leader.

The program, located at FPL’s Juno Beach headquarters, welcomed 14 entrepreneurs across seven pioneering startups representing industries from aviation and aerospace to cleantech and consumer electronics. Over the next 12–18 months, Sensatek and its peers will collaborate with NextEra Energy subject-matter experts, participate in a tailored business curriculum, and receive executive coaching from a Fortune 200 company.

Sensatek was chosen for its breakthrough work in autonomous monitoring of industrial systems using AI-enabled technology built for harsh environments. By harnessing artificial intelligence and advanced sensing solutions, Sensatek enables safer, more reliable, and more efficient operation of mission-critical assets in the energy and aerospace sectors.

“Being selected to join 35 Mules is both an honor and an opportunity,” said Reamonn L. Soto, Founder & CEO of Sensatek. “This program aligns perfectly with our mission to deliver innovative sensing technologies that empower operators, reduce downtime, and unlock greater value across the industries we serve.”

FPL’s 35 Mules incubator provides:

  • A $100,000 cash grant to accelerate commercialization

  • Rent-free dedicated workspace at Juno Beach headquarters

  • Access to experts across NextEra Energy’s clean energy businesses

  • Mentorship and executive coaching to help scale innovative solutions

Eric Silagy, FPL Chairman and CEO, emphasized the strength of this year’s cohort: “We selected these startups because of their remarkable technologies, strong leadership qualities and capacity to grow significantly – all of which allows them to greatly benefit from 35 Mules. I look forward to witnessing these startups make significant strides in their businesses to help create a better world.”

Sensatek joins an impressive class of innovators including companies advancing 3D virtual replicas of ships, kinetic battery storage, lithium extraction from seawater, and advanced LiDAR-driven vegetation management.

By participating in the 35 Mules program, Sensatek strengthens its ability to scale disruptive technologies that support a more resilient, data-driven, and sustainable energy future.
