Sensatek announces TurboTrack™, monitoring service
Propulsion tech company debuts monitoring service that prevents turbine failure early-on
Sensatek takes the same technology it has found major success within power generation, aerospace, oil and gas and aviation industries to introduce the first-of-its-kind monitoring service. TurboTrack™ is a real-time rotor, disc and blade metal temperature monitoring system Sensatek has created to improve the reliability of gas turbines.
The technology company, funded in part by the National Science Foundation, started in research and development. TurboTrack is the first in its transition to manufacturing products and providing services. This new service is perfect for utility companies and will save money by potentially significantly reducing downtime. Unexpected outages can lead to increased operations and maintenance costs, with TurboTrack monitoring system, those outages are caught before they even happen.
